Hey You Foxy
There’s something about the expression on this little fox that I just couldn’t resist. Curious, slightly cheeky, and looking straight at you as though you’ve interrupted him on his travels.
Painted in acrylics, I’ve used rich copper, russet and golden tones to bring warmth and character to his face, with a dark, atmospheric background that makes those beautiful eyes really stand out.
I wanted to capture that wonderful mix of curiosity and confidence that foxes seem to have, while keeping the brushwork expressive and full of colour.
